JESSIE
Jessie was struggling
in school. During her 1st grade year she was having trouble learning. She
would cry at nights and beg us not to make her go to school. We would study
with her for hours and she retained nothing. She was not able to read, so
she was not being successful in learning anything. She was lacking in
self-confidence, was timid and very soft spoken. We chose to have Jessie
take 1st grade over and she had special tutoring during the summer. We saw
some improvement but still she was struggling. Then Jessie started
Biofeedback. Now Jessie is in the 3rd grade making straight A's. She loves
to read. She has gained self-confidence, is outspoken and loves to try new
things.
SALLY
In the fall of 2002, my
life came to a screeching halt. I was 62 years old and had been surrounded
by stress, depression, and fatigue all my life.
I was addicted to
prescription drugs for six years trying to keep my life in control but, that
fall, everything fell apart.
I was seeing a psychiatrist
and a counselor, and spent a week in a rehab facility, but nothing worked.
I lived in a 24-hour state of anxiety and depression. I was overwhelmed by
phobias and had became totally non-functional.
I started Biofeedback
treatment in November of 2002. In a few months I started to live again.
After being helpless and hopeless, I am up and about, living life to its
fullest, filled with energy, and able to carry on my daily deeds. The
phobias are gone, I am able to cope with life and am almost completely off
my medication. I call it "God's gift to mental wellness."

BROOK
My daughter, Brook, is
five years old and has been receiving Biofeedback services for about three
and a half months. Before Brook started Biofeedback she was fearful of
sudden movements, noises, and trying new things. Brook's movements were
stiff and shaky. Now, she not only walks better but runs in her walker as
well. She stands with more ease and confidence. Her fear level has dropped
greatly and she is not afraid to try new things. Brook was terrified of the
bath tub and water, but now she laughs and plays and even loves to take
showers. Brook now is able to go to the bathroom with ease and comfort
where as before it was very painful for her. Brook and I both benefited
from biofeedback and the work Dana has done with us. |
